Guernsey has a total of twenty seven beaches/bays so there is something to suit everyone, some are sandy, some are rocky, some are both at various stages of the tide. The following eight beaches won the 2000 Tidy Britain Group's Seaside Award, and fly the yellow & blue flag, which indicate that they are safe, clean & have a high level of water quality.

| L'Eree Bay One of the largest bays, great for swimming at mid to high tide, with plenty to explore at low tide |

| Pembroke Bay A large sandy bay, with areas of pebbles |

| Petit Bot Bay On the south coast, surrounded by high cliffs |

| Portelet Bay A bay with a small fishing harbour |

| Port Soif Sandy, and on the west coast |
|
| Vazon Bay On the west coast, sandy, has to be the largest in Guernsey, surfing/windsurfing |
